Kennels with Taigakoira Lappies
Lastsong Kennels (SA) is home to the lovely Halo (Taigakoira Aamuenkeli) and their Siberian Husky female Akira. Lastsong kennels is dedicated to promoting their spitz breeds in the show ring, in obedience, agility and other dog related sports.
Recommended Breeders (Australian)
Janoby Kennels (Vic) Our good friends at Janoby are the only kennel in Australia to have both Finnish and Swedish Lapphunds, having bred and owned numerous Australian champions. Very dedicated to northern breeds, they also breed and show their very lovely Samoyeds.
Armahani Kennels (Vic) A small select kennel, Armahani is home to a number of lovely Champion Finnish Lapphunds and are well established in the show ring.
Lumottu Kennels (Vic) Meaning 'enchanted' in Finnish, Lumottu kennels are dedicated to their lovely Lappies and enjoy the show and obedience rings.
Watersedge Kennels (QLD) Our good friends at Watersedge Kennels bred our own lovely Sohvi and have done much to improve the Lappie bloodlines in this country. Watersedge have both Finnish Lapphunds and Australian kelpies, and not only show but also are very successful in herding with these breeds.
Theldaroy (QLD) One of the largest and most well known of the kennels involved in Lappies, Theldaroy also show and breed Champions Siberian Huskies and Toy Poodles.
Miavig Kennels (NSW) Miavig Kennels have been involved in the breed for many years, showing and breeding lovely typey Lappies.
Toujour Kennels (NSW) Toujour kennels are great promoters and enthusiastic supporters of their lovely Lappies, showing regularly in NSW. They also have lovely Belgian and German Shepherds.
Shuyak Kennels (SA) Shuyak kennels have lovely and typey Finnish Lapphunds and have been involved in both Malamutes and Lappies for many years. Regulars in the show ring in South Australia, they are great supporters of the breed in that state.

Recommended Breeders (International)
Kennel Vasaran (Netherlands) Nico and Jordie live with their lovely Finnish Lapphund in a small village near Apeldoorn in the Netherlands, and are the very proud owners of international champions Usko and Nasti and the lovely Lahja. Taigakoira has a stud arrangement with Vasaran and we hope to be able to introduce Usko's lines to this country in the near future.
Breed and Kennel Clubs
Australia
The Finnish Lapphund Club of Victoria (FLCV) – this is the only breed club in Australia, and aims to promote the Finnish Lapphund in Australia.
DOGS Victoria (Victorian Canine Association) is the peak body representing owners and breeders of purebred dogs in Victoria and has a history dating back to 1877. It is also the state regulatory body for registered pedigree breeders in Victoria and is a member of the Australian National Kennel Council.

The official Lapphund Breed Club in Finland, The Lapphund Club of Finland promotes the Finnish Lapphund (Suomenlapinkoira), Swedish Lapphund (Ruotsinlapinkoira) and Lapponian Herder (Lapinporokoira).
Svenska Lapphundklubben
The official site for Lapphund Club of Sweden which promotes the Finnish Lapphund (Finsk Lapphund), Swedish Lapphund (Svensk Lapphund) and the Lapponian Herder (Lapsk Vallhund). Please note that this is a Swedish language site, although there are many photos of lovely Lappies (just follow the Bilder link).

Although yet to achieve full breed status by the AKC, the Finnish Lapphund Club has been established to assist in this process. For information on Finnish Lapphunds in the USA it is best to check this site out.
