Adelaide and Melbourne Royals

The Royal season is now over, and we are exhausted - but it was well worth it! The prizes were shared around, with the lovely Halo (Taigakoira Aamuenkeli) taking Puppy of Breed at Adelaide and naughty Ruby (Taigakoira Aamutahti) winning Puppy of Breed at the Melbourne Royal!

At the Adelaide Royal it was the Taigakoira girls run off, with the lovely Halo (Taigakoira Aamuenkeli) taking not only Puppy of Breed but also Reserve Challenge Bitch in a full line up! Halo is owned and handled by Caitlin Robertson-Helbig of LastSong Kennels in SA, who is doing a great job with the little Miss!

Just a couple of weeks later we were at the Melbourne Royal, where it was Ruby's turn to take out Puppy of Breed under Finnish Judge Bo Skalin. Despite there being a huge thunder storm, Ruby did a lovely job in the ring and Mr Skalin was also kind enough to gave us a verbal critique, noting that while Ruby has some more growing to do, he thought her proportions, build and overall movement were very good - we are happy with that!
